Hi there. My name is Bin Wang. I am a post-doc fellow in the research group of Professor Xu-Jia Wang at Institute for Theoretical Sciences, Westlake University.
Previously, I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics under the co-supervision of Professor Man Chun Lee and Professor Xiaolu Tan at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Earlier, I obtained a M.Sc. in Mathematics from McMaster University, where I studied under the supervision of Professor Siyuan Lu; prior to that, I received a B.Sc. in Mathematical Physics from University of Waterloo. I was very fortunate to have learned from these professors.
I am broadly interested in analysis, probability and partial differential equations; their interconnections; and their applications in physics and geometry. See below for some of my research keywords at the moment.
Fully nonlinear elliptic PDEs and their applications in geometry
Convex geometry, optimal transport, geometric flows.
Geometric and functional inequalities
